It was an unforgettable day summer adventure for us with my mum and two brothers. Subic is the closest and easiest side trip from Manila that has something special to offer. Olongapo is where the Subic base is (base now has deluxe hotels, casinos and upscale bars) Subic City area that contains the beaches and night life for us travelers.we stayed at White Rock Beach Hotel.
i've been to Cebu City once and find it to be a fine destination. i stayed at Tambuli beach Club Hotel at Lapu Lapu Island. Beautiful Beach and nice place to stay in Cebu. The accommodation is good but the air conditioning was very noisy like an oldest engine. I enjoyed with the resort provides leisure facilities like a pool, jacuzzi as well as sports facilities like tennis court, scuba diving and ride on a jet skii.the next day went to Magellan's Cross, the painting in the ceiling (above) of the kiosk is truly amazing. By looking at the painting, you can't help but remember those things taught to us in school and in the church - specifically on the birth of Christianity in the Philippines. Visiting the Cross is a good time for reminiscin'.
remembering my travel in Bora twice really gave me a tremendous feeling. i may have a small amount in my pocket...but... my eyes are very much contented while viewing those pretty stuffs in D'mall. visitors can choose from exciting selection of great buys in a place known also for quality items and reasonable prices; south sea pearls, fashionable items, etc... looking back my old photos in Bora, feels like bringing me back again.. sooner...wish ko lang!
this is my picture with my tribal henna tattoo.. yeah, iv'e tried it many times. well, there are lots of good artists, they will just approach and convince you if you want to have a tattoo. but for me, even they don't approach me, i am the one who will approach them to do a henna tattoo for me. and honestly, i always do that wherever and every time i will go to Boracay, Cebu, Galera, or Palawan etc.. and they said and i know that if you are in the island your in fashion, if you got one. it only takes 15 minutes, it depends upon the design you choose but drying must takes for an hour. there are lots of henna tattoo designs to choose from, but i chose the simple one. when my tattoo was done, i said to myself." Now I'M IN!!!, he!he!he!".
been there twice. first to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriends. and second, went there to attend my friend's Michelle wedding. the hassle i experience was when i rode this boat to white beach, i arrive at the Batangas port at 11 am and most of the boat are already leaving next trip will be 11:15 to 11:30 i was so excited and i don't feel like staying at the port for a about 15 mins so i decided to take the 11 am trip with this Father n Son Lines and i tell you its a waste of time the trip was supposed to be less or at least an hour but mine was an exhausting 2 and half hours. we arrive at around 1pm then went straight ahead to the Michelle's Resort. the best place to stay in the island 'cause we are on the first station. after eating our lunch what else to do but hit the crystal clear water of white beach. after swimming we went to the resort first to take a rest then then hit the bar for some warm up drinks. then cameback to the room and ask my friends if they want to eat dinner. after dinner its party time. im telling you guys Puerto Galera is not one of the best place to party in the Philippines the party was just nonstop and delicious drinks. but they have delicious drink such as mindoro sling and ware house. we woke up at around 9 hit the beach then we are on our way home at around 1 pm. yes its a very short trip but i really have a good time like i had in the past.
Baguio even has its own lake for strolling and rowing (Burnham Park reserve) and is ideal for a shopping/sightseeing trip and a day is sufficient. There are numerous shops and restaurants like anywhere else but head for the market and you will find dozens of stalls selling Philippine crafts especially in this area WOOD CARVINGS which make excellent gifts and at a fraction of the price you would pay in Manila.
at the Strawberry Fields, La Trinidad Benguet, the strawberries weren't ripe enough to be picked yet, so we just walked around the fields and then went to the shops. it's cheaper if you buy them in kilo and strawberry is more expensive because one will be paying both for the experience the strawberries and the ones that are ruined in the process (the fruit is delicate unlike apples or oranges).be sure to pick large ones — as UNRIPE as possible — if you want them to last for a few more days. they ripen fast with a lot of handling and traveling so that when you get to Manila they will be perfectly ripe. this means choose strawberries that are NOT YET RED, meaning, the ones that are as WHITE as possible.
i've been many times in Laguna but it was my first time at Taytay Falls. Me and my friends (Rachel and his cousin Jhun and Mark) went there unplanned and as a road tripped at night. Laguna is Mark hometown. Since it's his hometown, we stayed in their house and it took about 4-5 hours to reached their place. 2 hours before reachin their place we first stopped to one bar resto and have some drinks for only one or wto bottles. Rachel and me didn't really like the music and the crowds so we paid the bill and left. It's almost mid dawn when we reached their house. We slept for few hours then woke up cuz in the morning our destination is went to Taytay Falls. The guys went in the wet market to buy our food to bring, 1 kilo of "tilapia" fish and cheap beer.
Taytay Falls itself, by its height (about 2-storeys tall), is as awesome as I’ve seen before. the very clean pool of water on its base, the force of its spray, the slippery boulders at the base which you just know are untouched by human hands, the old verdant trees and. There were a lot of campers about (I can’t imagine how they could actually sleep in tents around the falls - everything is just so wet and cold) but the rushing sound of water from the falls drowns everything out. It’s just you and the falls out there. I love nature tripping anyway.
we spent time of relaxing in the cold water of taytay falls. as in, suuper very cold! and the worst was we swam under the heavy rains.
just one rule: please do not leave your garbage, just let your presence be felt and don't leave your traces behind because you are spoiling the beauty of the place.

Mama Mary
Me and my friends, Eloisa and Randel had planned one week ago to go to Our Lady of Manaog in Pangasinan. It was my first time at Our Lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan. My family used to attend masses every Sunday esp in our province (Cagayan) the church is our neighbor. This is consider as a miraculous church. Galing kami sa Manila so it takes 12 hours to go there by bus. We love to buy candles and offer our prayers too. There are plenty of religious items that are for sale and with very affordable prices too, actually we bought one. After every masses, the priest will bless all the people who gather in front of the altar. And there is also a place where people put all their items that they bought and the priest will come later and bless those items.
i had a great adventure at Manila Ocean Park with my family. esp my niece and nephew enjoyed a lot there. it is a world class marine themed park. the oceanarium is huge and there are lots of variety species. walking through the underwater tunnel made me more appreciates the beauty of God's creation. my favorite part of the adventure is riding in the glass boat while viewing some of the fishes at the bottom part. i tried also the fish spa, but i don't like it because it tickles my feet. going in this kind of place is educational because it gives us awareness regarding marine environment. it takes two hours to finish the journey. i was not bored in the park for there are so many restaurants to choose from in case your hungry and also they have a play station for those who needs more fun. after touring the place, i bought something to remember in their souvenir's shop.
Tagaytay
i went their so many times already. i'm with my friends, cousins and family. and the last time we enjoyed our travel in Tagaytay with my mum and dad because the place is really beautiful. we went their to view some houses, for road tripped and went their for dinner. it is such a wonderful feeling because we have a spectacular view of the Taal Volcano. dining in the Ocean View Point restaurant is also nice because of their gorgeous landscapes. The cool breezed in Tagaytay made our days more romantic.

Farming are their way of standard for daily living. and some were working without pay.
